Geo-Grid Rank Tracking — See Exactly Where Your Firm Ranks Across Your City
Quick Answer
You cannot manage Maps visibility you cannot see. We track your firm on a geo-grid across your city and report monthly, so you know exactly where you rank suburb by suburb and how that is moving against the firms next to you.
Most agencies tell you they're 'improving your ranking.' But they don't show you where — or they cherry-pick the one suburb that happens to look good and quietly leave out the rest. That's not reporting. That's marketing the marketing.
We send you a full geo-grid rank map every month showing your exact rank position at every point across your city. Green dots, yellow dots, red dots. No interpretation needed. You see where you win, where you lose, and how it changes over time.
Not sure where your firm stands? Our 42-point visibility audit checks this and everything else that decides whether Google and AI recommend your practice — see everything we manage or what it costs.
What You Get
Bi-Weekly Geo-Grid Maps
Every month, you receive a geo-grid rank map for your primary keyword (e.g. 'divorce attorney Johannesburg'). The grid covers your entire target city, with your exact rank shown at every point — green for top 3, yellow for 4–10, red for below 10.
Before-and-After Comparison Maps
Each report includes a side-by-side comparison with the previous map so you can see movement clearly. Where you climbed, where you slipped, where you dominate, where work is needed. No 'trust us, it's improving' — you see the change.
Plain-English Commentary
Every map comes with a written summary in plain English — what changed, why we think it changed, and what we're doing about it next. No jargon. No ranking metric salad. A two-minute read your managing partner can act on.
Competitor Snapshots
We overlay your top three competitors on the same grid. You see exactly where they outrank you and where you outrank them — geographically, suburb by suburb. This drives the next month's strategy.
What Is a Geo-Grid Rank Map?
A geo-grid is a literal grid of points laid across a geographic area — typically a city or service region. At each point, the tracking tool simulates a search and records exactly where your business appears in the local pack at that location.
The result is a colour-coded map: green dots where you rank in the top 3, yellow dots where you're in positions 4–10, and red dots where you're nowhere to be found. It's the only honest way to measure local visibility — because Google Maps rankings change depending on where the searcher is standing.
Why Transparency Matters
You should never have to wonder where you rank. If your current agency can't show you a rank map — or only shows you one suburb — ask why. The answer usually isn't comfortable.
We built the bi-weekly geo-grid into every package because trust gets earned through visibility, not promises. You see the same data we see. We win or lose on what the map shows.
Frequently Asked Questions
What keywords do you track?
We start with your primary practice area + city keyword (e.g. 'divorce attorney Johannesburg'). As your Results Package build progresses we add secondary keywords — sub-practice areas, alternative phrasings, and additional service areas. Every client gets at least one full geo-grid map per cycle.
How often do I get rank reports?
Monthly on all packages. This cadence matches how quickly Google's local algorithm responds to changes — frequent enough to spot problems early, slow enough that movement is meaningful and not noise. If something significant happens between reports, we'll flag it immediately.
What happens if my ranking drops?
We tell you immediately, before you have to ask. Drops happen — Google updates, competitor activity, GBP edits, review velocity changes. Our job is to diagnose the cause within days and adjust strategy in the next cycle. Our monthly scans catch trends early, and we monitor for significant shifts between cycles so nothing slips through.
